Global Reliance Inc. started in 1998 with an idea to utilize the growing agricultural and processing community in India to service North American food processors with products not easily available in the U.S.  With that in mind, GR entered into an exclusive contract with Himalya International Ltd.  In Himachal Pradesh, India to Himalya to process its need for them. Since that time GR has partnered with  Himalaya to have a 100% vertically integrated mushroom growing operation, specialized in most north Indian states, and a hand labor food processing line dedicated to creating and producing hand made appetizers and desserts.

In 2008 you saw a whole new line of products that have been in R&D process for the last two years.  Products such as breaded appetizers, authentic Italian cheeses, and baby vegetables are on the slate to be introduced to processors this year.  We look forward to a busy and exciting next few years as globalization reaches new heights and our experience in bringing the highest quality - cost effective - specialty products to the world is recognized even more.
